XP And Loot
Rewards should persist as campaign artifacts, not vanish between sessions.
While the legacy material was heavier on systems than public reward rules, it consistently treated experience, treasure, equipment, and adventure history as durable parts of the character record.
What should persist
- Experience points or level state as part of character identity.
- Equipment, treasure, and currency as explicit sheet data.
- Adventure history entries that explain where important gains came from.
- Major relationships and consequences that affect later play.
Why this matters
Rewards are not bookkeeping garnish. They are part of how the world remembers what happened. Saffrondale works best when loot, advancement, and consequences remain visible enough to shape future decisions.
